We were headed to the Ferry Dock of St. Thomas around 7:45am.  After purchasing our $45.00 round trip tickets for the Road Town Fast Ferry, we had breakfast in the little café upstairs.  We left St. Thomas at 8:40am and were in Tortola by 9:30am.  We took the Footloose charters van to the dock location but were told that we couldn’t board our boat until noon.  We knew this already from the contract but we can always wish that the boat would be ready ahead of schedule.

At about 12:15 Will’s name was called and he signed the necessary paperwork for the “Catalyst,” a 47-foot catamaran with 4 bathrooms and 4 heads from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  WOW!  What an upgrade!  We paid to charter a 38-foot catamaran with 3-bedrooms and 2 heads.

Apparently you need a fashon major!!!... for zippers
The boat is huge and really nice.  Funny thing is that before we were assigned our boat we were all walking the docks and commented on how nice this boat was.

We hopped on board and got settled.  It took us until about 3:00pm to be ready to leave; we had to wait on our provisions, linens, ice and our dingy (#546) to be delivered.

On to the open sea with Captain Will at the wheel!  Unfortunately we did not sail today because of the late start and motored to the Bight on Norman Island.

Before we got there we stopped at The Indians which is a large rock formation jutting out of the sea.  The rocks are covered with beautiful coral and colorful fish swimming around.  We snorkeled there for about an hour before continuing on to the Bight.  After cooking dinner on the small grill we were off to Willie T’s, a bar at the Bight that is an old ship that is permanently anchored.  We enjoyed the Painkillers a little to much and danced our butts off.  Some stupid girl was throwing glitter on everyone... I HATE GLITTER!  Anyway, lets just say the night ended with all of us yelling "Javi!  Put the waterproof flashlight away!!!"
