Serious sailing today!  We sailed the majority of the day over to the Baths of Virgin Gorda.  We dingyed in as far as we could and than swam to shore.  It’s about a 20-minute hike to get through the Baths over to Devil’s Bay.  The hike required you to duck through rocks, climb ladders, wade through water and squish through narrow openings.  Where the sea washes in between the huge rocks, large pools have been created where shafts of light play upon the water.  The Baths were AMAZING!  I loved it!

After that the boys decided to go snorkeling and the girls headed up to the “Top of the Baths.”  There are a couple of shops up there as well as a restaurant and swimming pool.  The pool was for restaurant patrons only… twist our arms, we’ll have a drink!  We sat with our feet in the pool until Pete came running up and got us.  Apparently we needed to leave the Baths early because we still had to sail to the Virgin Gorda Marina, opps.    Luckily when we got the Marina there was still a spot.  Will parallel-parked our huge boat like a pro.

The Marina has hot showers and flushing toilets!!!  After our long hot showers we headed to the Rock Café, a short walk from the yacht harbor.  Yummy grilled Anegada lobster.  Will had been talking about this for a while and he wasn’t lying!  With fully tummies we went back to the boat and passed out.
