Lunar New Year In Hong Kong

Visiting Hong Kong for New Year was fun. We went to the big parade and the next night we went to a special place to view the fireworks. Hong Kong is nice place. I had been there several times in the past. We stood at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile right in the heart of Kowloon, 5 min from the Star Ferry. I know that people like shoping there but I do not think the bargins are that great. We has Tea at the Penisular Hotel as well as dinner. The views from the lobby lounge of the Intercontinental are awesome. We also had dinner at the top of the peak. Very easy to get to town from the airport.  The train takes about 20 min and then there are busses to all the hotels.
