No rush to get up today as it was still overcast and raining in the morning. Days like this have to be expected when you go to Greece at this time of year. Had taken laptop,as we could get net access using Vicky and Dimitris Wi-Fi in the Jungle Bar, but we had also taken a few DVD's. So once sorted with something to eat spent the time watching them.
The rain went off,so we walked through the village and when we got back to the hotel my son wanted to go for a swim in the pool . What the hell !! I got a book and sat reading on the terrace beside the pool, while he splashed about. He was the only one daft enough to be in that day.
Went out for dinner and went to another old haunt,The Relax, before going for a few drinks. The rain was never far away and when it came this time it was full force. The road up to the village of Katastari was running like a river and the crossroads were soon flooded. The thunder and lightning were of a frequency that nobody bothered counting the gaps and it went on for ages. It was great :-)
Some time after midnight one of Dimitris friends came in. He had his car with him,and as Dimitris only had his motorbike tonight he borrowed his mates car to give us a lift along the road. A bit of a squeeze with 5 of us piling into a mini, but back a lot drier than we would have been walking.
