Nothing like a really good storm to clear the air, and today was to be the best of the weather we had. Able to spend the whole day down on the beach quite comfortably. Managed to finish my magazine and my guidebook for Bucharest. A really pleasant day on the sand.
Usual stroll into Alykes and caught up with Vicky again and she invited us up to the house for a barbecue next day. Headed back to get changed and made up mind where we were going for dinner. Been 5 days in Greece and I still hadn't had any gyros.
Back at the hotel decided to grab a snooze and then headed along the road into Alykanas centre to a little kebab shop, Pepes, and got a meal there. This is the real cheap way to eat, and 4 kebabs,2 beers, 2 cokes and a chocolate crepe was just €14-80
Had the usual few beers with Dimitris, and decided toc all it a night early and walk back along the road since it was a nice night. By the time we were walking back through Alykanas Dimitris was in the kebab shop grabbing something to eat on his way up the road. Said we would see him tomorrow as he was coming down to pick us up at midday.
