I slept on and off during the night but not continuous. I got up with the first buzz of my alarm and quickly got showered and pack what few thing I had removed for the night. I was downstairs and out the door just before 6:30. I had paid attention, last night and decided to walk back to the airport. I had read a review from Oct 13th that said that it was an easy walk and not worth 10 euro.
It really was an easy walk. It was longer than I expected but, I had the time. It was spitting rain but not enough for a hat or unbrella. I guess it took me about 25 minutes to walk to terminal II at Copenhagen's airport. I do walk fast, for those who don't know me. So, it is a distance. If it were raining.....not a chance!
At the airport, I checked without a problem.
I proceeded through security and decided to have some breakfast. I was hungry. I found a cafe that served a decent cheese omlette and fuit topped with Greek yogurt and museli....delish! The only complaint was 4 euro for a glass of coke....aarrgghh, Scandinavia!
I walked around the shopping area...dangerous. Copenhagen has very nice shopping choices. At a shop selling Danish crafts, I bought an Oda fairytale cut-out. Each of the designs has a story to tell. I chose a building on Nyhavn.
After walking around and around to stay awake, we finally were called to start the boarding process. On time, we left and began our journey out across Sweden and Norway into the Atlantic Ocean. Some of the scenery was so amazing, the clouds over Sweden and the mountains crossing Norway. As we left the coast of Norway, there was a little group of islands....so peaceful but, I would want to live there.
