Am I home? Are you sure?

Ok, so I made it home, only 24 hours later than planned. Actually not even 24 hours, more like 19 hours but, seemed much longer. It seems strange to see a city after over a week of the natural world.
I can soon forget the tramatic return trip but, will always remember the great adventure that I found. I met some wonderful people, saw amazing natural wonders, participated in the enjoyment of cultural expression, and learned about a people's history. That's alot to be given from such a small group of islands.
I told you that I bought the tranport card that got me travel with the whole country for 7 days for 600 kroner (80 euro / 120 dollars). I ended up using 13 busses and 6 ferries, not including the Torshavn city busses, which are free.
This shell that I found on the rocky, jagged Atlantic coast of Vagur on Suduroy, is an amazing find. I hadn't expected to find shells in this country. The environment is so harsh, I didn't expect that any would survive. I think that I was meant to find this shell because, I will appreciate its beauty. It's a limpet shell, a shell that happens to look like the mountains of Foroyar. I think that's amazing, as well. How unusual that this would be a shape to be found here. It's a wonderful shell and it has been placed in a special place so that I can see it and remember the excitement I had upon finding it and making the connection between the shape and the country.
This journey has made me re-assess how I determine my future destinations. I have been to many places and for the foreseable future I will continue to travel each month. I love cities. I love architecture. I love art. I love music. I love history. The nature of our planet seems to always make a stronger impression on me. Nature feeds my soul and I think that I'm still hungry.
