In May of 2008 I was at Fort Jackson for a week, so when the four day weekend came to go back, I was already halfway to the first of several stops. Only the G-rated stops are posted. If you are interested the non-G-rated types of stops, go visit another website. The route turned into a big circle, similar to my April road trip, but this one had significantly more stops.

Nascar Speedpark

Is there such a thing as a Nascar theme park? Yes, there are several. Go-kart tracks, mainly, with a killer military discount. Besides Go-kart tracks they have a carousel with race cars instead of horses, and a kiddie rollercoaster that looks like race cars, and a few other car themed rides. I didn't have my camera with me so took the photos from my car after I left.
