Talledega Race Track
April 18, 2008
You aren't able to go on the actual race track here, but the museum featured hundreds of famous race cars. They even have a gift shop that sold race car driver comic books. They also have some cars that were in serious wrecks. Incredible to believe that the drivers survived these wrecks, since there isn't much left of the car. There was a tornado warning when I was there, but unfortunately, none came. If you are interested in race cars, be sure to stop here. It also is a good pit stop if you are on a cross country road trip. Nothing better after being cooped up in a car all day to get out and walk around looking at cars.
