The Summary
In 2002 I decided to fulfill a fantasy and drive across the US and back. I had 30 days to get from Washington DC to a conference in Portland Oregon and back. I called it the Big Ass Road Trip (or Big American Road Trip if there were children present!). BART. I drove alone and learned an awful lot along the way!
