Going over a dune!
"Dune Bashing" is basically when you have someone pick you up in an SUV..you drive out pretty far to get to the desert area. The driver then deflates the tires on the SUV a little bit because otherwise you'll roll over on a dune. It is really crazy and kinda scary..you go up dunes not knowing whats on the other side cuz the wind constantly changes them..and you pretty much slide down the other side completely sideways..its so fun! You feel like you're going to flip over the entire time. It is quite an experience and one you won't soon forget. I highly recommend it if you are going to be visiting dubai or any of the UAE really..i'm sure many of the countries do something similar to this. Plus you can go visit a local mans farm and see his camels up close and personal! =)
PS: Don't try driving the dunes yourself unless you've taken a class for it. It is much safer to go with an established tour guide who has taken all safety courses as well as had a couple years of experience.
