First taste of Authentic Italian Food
For our first night in Italy, we were excited to taste authentic Italian food now that we are here, and this restaurant fulfilled our expectation.
This restaurant is listed in Lonely Planet's recommendation. Even though there is no restaurant signboard and its wall are not decorated instead sprayed with graffiti, its usually full so its best to reserve ahead, especially for the outdoor tables. Service was fast and good, waiters are also friendly. The kitchen is 'open', separated by glass, so you see the chefs in action if seated inside.
We had a great dinner of pasta and desserts to die for. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce is compliments the pasta delightfully. Dessert was sinfully divine was topped off with a strong shot of expresso.
We were so pleased with the place that we came back on our last night in Italy as a finale to a fabulous trip!
First time, I ordered Canelloni
Fettucini with black truffle sauce
Sinfully divine!
Desserts to die for - Tiramisu a
Spaghetti vongole
Pasta bolognaise
Second time, I had lasagna
Secondi - Osso Bucco
Ristorante Maccheroni

Fellini B&B
Located near Piazza Barberini, is within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Via Vittoria Venetto, which is lined with charming restaurants.
Metro, Barberini station is also close by, and the train is a direct line to the Spanish Steps and Vatican City.

The hotel is named after Fellini - a famous Italian director, the owner is a fan and the hotel is decorated with Fellini's movie posters. I only know of 'La Dolce Vita'.

We booked a family room for 4 persons. The apartment is spacious and clean, has 1 bedroom with ensuite bath, living area with 2 beds, kitchenette and dining area.
The rate is inclusive of breakfast, and we can opt for having breakfast in bed or at the roof terrace in Level 5.

The staff were friendly and helpful, even allowed us to store our luggage for a week while we were traveling thru Northern Italy as we will be coming back to Rome and staying at this hotel again after our trip.
