This is a blog about my study abroad experience in Buenos Aires, Argentina from February to August. I'll travel extensively through Argentina and visit Chile, Uruguay, Peru, and perhaps even Bolivia. ME GUSTA, ME GUSTA!

I got out of bed today at 3:00 in the afternoon. Never in my life have I done such a thing.

It`s official. I`ve blended into my surroundings. I`ve been hanging with my Argentine friends a good bit lately. The entire time I speak castellano. I think my level has advanced double in the past two weeks because everywhere I go, I meet people and have to speak in Spanish. I can`t be shy any longer. I also finally gave in to the eating habits down here. I eat a tiny little lunch now at about 2:30 in the afternoon and then I have dinner at 10 in the evening. It`s crazy but I finally adjusted.

...so anyway. Back to the story. I got out of bed at three because I got in bed at seven this morning. We went to a graduation party at three in the morning and ended up joining another party along the way. For these parties they basically cram everyone into a tiny little bar and play music. Fun experience!

I think I`m going to miss this place.

Keri, I chuckle and agree with your comments of finally getting used to the Argentine schedule. When you arrive home, I suspect you'll also find out how much you miss passing around the community mate bowl.
