Sitting on top of the world?

Summer holidays 2007. 1 week Scotland followed by a long way back home from Bergen, Norway via Stockholm and Kopenhagen. All made possible by DFDS Seaways, that sails between IJmuiden and Newcastle and between Newcastle and Bergen.

Sitting on top of the world?

When we enter Stranraer, where we first visit the city-museum. We find that the tower is open (for free, some kind of visit-a-monument day).
We climb to the top and have a great view over the harbour. In the distance we can see the harbour opposite the sea.
In the Loch Ryan (the bay of Stranraer) leave the ferries to Ireland. (my tip: take a combined daytrip ticket with the bus, that is much cheaper than to go on foot)
