Bergen to Laerdal
Our second stop in Norway is Laerdal.
We can stay here for a few days.
The first day was very fair. We visit the historical town and eat in the garden of the café. The food is good, and sitting in the sun is a great passtime. The credit card machine didn't work, so I have a 5 km walk to get some money (and they trust me to return:)
We explore the camping and our house, and the nearby fjord. Make our beds and pictures and have our first night with some privacy^>^
The next day starts very nice, so we go for a hike and climb the hill opposit our house. it is a long climb and we are surprised to meet some people under way. When we are descending, it starts drixzzling. It is good we are off the mountain, as the following rain could have caused some serious accidents. I took two umbrellas with me, just in case, but the rain is so dense that even with an umbrella we got wet untill the bone. And we have to walk that long way back (on flat roads, no slippery rock, but still a long way).
It is good our house is dry and warm. The girls cook (nobody wants to sit in the garden of the café(?) and we can relax in front of the telly.
