Carthage to Cairo Nov/Dec 2008 - Tripoli

A trip across North Africa from Tunisia to Ancient Cairo. Tunisia a pleasant suprise.Modern roads and transport network.Hidden historical gems and beautiful Coastline.Libya was an experience and mostly pleasant.Terrible roads,though they are being improved.Maniac drivers.Still few western tourists so the main sights were quiet.As in many countries patience is required that and an adventurous spirit will see you through.Alexandria in Eid holidays was chaotic fun unless you are squeamish!!
