Clock Tower on UNCG campus - we were warned that undergrads who walk beneath this will NOT graduate on time!

A brief recap of our day wading through UNC-Greensboro and the orientation program.  More than anything, I was impressed with the ardor of both faculty and students here.  Today’s program entertained a large volume of incoming students and potential students, in addition to their families.  The large number of participants was accommodated without missing a beat, the program well done (actually enbtertaining, with several numbers performed by the campus award winning acapella group, the SparTones...college nickname is the Spartans), and the information presented quite useful.

Spencer is going into their Art & New Media program, and the two professors conducting the break out session for that school were informative and fun.  Because my daughter had to start work early Sunday morning there was no time to explore beyond the official program.  We bounced straight back to Wilmington after attending everything we needed to, but on the way home agreed to try and get back for a weekend over the summer to investigate the town’s off-campus attraction.  Stay tuned!
