Birth
January 12, 1983
Was born here and lived here most of my life
This is one place I always go to eat when I am in Vermont...there is usually a line out the door, and no hostess or reservations, you just wait until a table is open and sit down. There is a lot of history in this place, it has been on that site since Pearl Harbor Day, 7 Dec 1941. It still looks like a 50's diner inside...really charming, plus they have really really great Italian food...the sauce is home made and it is so good that is has recently been made avaliable online and in supermarkets. Once you have had it I bet you will bring a jar home with you.
Keep in mind I think they are closed on Sunday and Monday, but I am not for sure.

Started in the late 1940's, this family run buger stop is not your typical fast food joint, still today very reminiscent of the 50's diner, with the red seats in the booths and all. All food is made to order and doesn't sit under a lamp all day. Great, and I mean great french fries and minute steaks. Burgers, chicken fingers, milkshakes...what more can you want?
In the summer there is an Ice Cream area outside too, for all the area kids it's a huge treat to go to Al's for ice cream and to play on the playground!
This is the first place I go when I get into the airport...since it is right around the corner!
