Ts\'ehlanyane National Park
March 15, 2009
March 2009 me and two of my friends(André Smit & Patrick Bereng) traveled to Butha Buthe in Lesotho. We didnt plan anything and just wanted to go there and get some nice pictures for a book Patrick has been working on. When it got dark we decided to find a place to sleep. Some of the locals directed us to Ts'ehlanyane and we desided to go. It was a long dirt road(about 40km). It was raining hard and it was very dark. Every time we stopped, you could just hear the sound of a river coming down hard. We had to cross a bridge which was under water. When we got to the lodge, we were so tired we just went to sleep. The next morning we woke up to a incredible sight. The lodge was situated between two mountains with a river running in between. It was the best time of the year to be there. It was a wonderfull experience not to see the place the previous night and then to see it that morning. I will never forget it.
