Friday, the boarding starts between 3 and 4. We leave home for
This is a lucky thing, because waiting there is not really pleasant.
We go through customs without problems and enter the waiting queue.
Just after 16:00 boarding starts, and at 16:15 we are inside, walking to our cabin.
We are going to sail on the “King of Scandinavia” and are welcomed by the crew.
The meal vouchers are included in the key to your room, I find that out when I enquire at the reception.
No problem, so we go to the reservation desk of the “Seven Seas

We walk around the ship, have a beer in one of its bars and stand outside to see
As always the Scandinavian style buffet is an abundance of tasty food. If you want to loose weight, do not book this buffet, but bring your own crackers in stead :) I should have done so too!
After dinner we go through the shops, and admire the rich choice of beverage and gifts, and decide to bring some of it into
We have another beer in the Navigators Bar, where a guy with a guitar tries to bring us back into time with popular songs of the recent past. He succeeds in bringing people back to their rooms, but at least he tried:)
In the large Bar/Disco a little band is playing. The singer works hard, but the instrumentals are stunning.
After eleven we hit the sack. Our cabin is in the back part of the ship. It strikes me as almost silent. (normally the air co makes a lot of noise, and the machines are very audible, but none of that in room 1123!!)
