Dundjerski castle

Dundjerski is beautiful and picturesque castle in the Vojvodina near small town  Becej, on the north of Serbia The pre-war landowner and wealthy heir, Bogdan Dundjerski built the castle between 1919 and 1923 together with a church and chapel the latter of which was decorated by the owner’s close friend, the famous Uros Predic.

Dundjerski family were Serbian aristocrats in Vojvodina. There are many legends considering their wealth. Their estates gathered area of 2600 acres of land. After World War II, Dundjerski family was disposessed from their land and banished for good. Dozens of castles remained, but they they became famous thanks to Lenka Dundjerski, beautiful girl who was praised in many songs because of her beauty.

Today this castle is reconstructed in hotel Fantast and it’s such a good place for weekend or even 1-day in peace, surrounded with beautiful nature.For those who like like activities you can enjoy in riding  because nearby is paddock Zobnatica where you can enjoy or even try riding :)
