I wrote an entire special blog covering my trip to Erice in 2014 and that can be viewed here: Erice: City of Peace and Science. This was my eighth trip to Erice since 1995 and a rather special year as it was the 40th anniversary of the International School of Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy (ISAMS). This is the reason for the number of visits in order to attend this scientific meeting at the "Ettore Majorana" Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture (EMFCSC). For the 2014 meeting I organized a special tribute to celebrate ISAMS 40th anniversary and its director Prof. Baldassare (Rino) Di Bartolo. The details can be found in my Erice: City of Peace and Science blog. The tributes themselves are covered in a couple of entries: 40th Anniversary Tribute Session and Final Day in Erice and Dinner With the Director. As I've covered all of the details of my Erice 2014 visit previously, there is not much more I can say about it here, except to point out another entry which may be of interest, but didn't gain much attention before. It's a mystery story about the physicist Ettore Majorana. The link to that entry is: The Mystery of Ettore Majorana. In the way of photos I will just choose some selections that are representative of the Erice 2014 visit. I shall return again in the summer of 2016 with more Erice to share...
The tribute book I made is available on Presto Photo and can be seen here:
