Day 1
September 19, 2009
...left Manila at 4am via Cebu Pacific...
...arrived at Cagayan de Oro Airport around 6am...
...went directly to Jollibee Divisoria, our meeting place for the white water rafting... had breakfast...
...7am: two jeepneys with rubber boats arrived with Kagay's staff...
...picture-taking while waiting for the others to arrive...
...on our way to the drop off point, we stopped at Macahambus Caves... pictures again...
...around 9am... it was the start of our white water rafting adventure...
...one of the best experiences... definitely, a must-try...
...the adventure was even more exciting because of our ecstatic guide (kudos kuya clent)... he made us do a lot of tricks and the best one was making us stand on the side tubes of the raft while holding each other's vest along a rapid... it was no surprise that he was the only one left standing...
...3pm: we made our way to the Gardens of Malasag Eco-Tourism Village...
...i loved the view... with only PhP800 a night (standard room with twin beds and aircon)... it was worth every penny...
