Last day stops

Nordlingen Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

May 12, Suzi aka Aditu & I left Pittsburgh to join a tour group with Cosmos for 2 weeks. We were very excited as we had never been to Central Europe. We began in Frankfurt, Germany then to Berlin for 2 nights, 2 nights in Warsaw, Poland and 2 in Krakow. A drive through the country of Slovakia; then 2 nights in Budapest, one night in Vienna, 2 in Prague, one in Munich and our last night in Frankfurt. 5 countries and 14 days to see it may not be enough time, but we did see the highlights.

Last day stops

The breakfast selection was awesome this morning with a variety of choices besides the usual bacon and eggs. There was also smoked salmon, chocolate brownies and even pretzels! It certainly made up for no a/c. I have to say this was the best breakfast selection I ever had at a hotel! We stopped in medieval Nordlingen where there was a market area selling assortments of flowers, fish and fruits, mostly strawberries. The buildings were very cute with a variety of colors that included pink, tan, green, yellow and red. It still has a city wall which I found intriguing. There was a market going on that was selling food items (fish and fruits) and flowers. We were only here about an hour and then moved on.
