Jaisalmerfort in the evening
After another cold shower, but cold is not cold here, we had breakfast and got into the car for a ride to our next place: Jaisalmer. The road was good, and that is while this is a main road for the army to get to the west side of India: Pakistan. There is not much to see so we were not so active. The surroundings are getting dryer and dryer. At 1pm we came at a motel called Pokaran and had a simple lunch there. At 1:45 we left there and continued our journey to Jaisalmer. We came there early so our driver asked if we would have a massage before we went to the hotel. We discussed and we agreed to take one. He took us to Kerala where we had a Tea first and decided to take a scrub massage. It was really good and it took almost an hour! After this Anna-Isabel got from a child a Henna on her arm, hand and leg.
We left our stuff there and an hour later we left to watch the sunset from a place close to the fort. We were almost alone there and a few minutes later I probably know why. The view was oke but there was a mountain between us and the sun, so nothing special but we played a little bit with our camera to take some nice pictures from each other touching some buildings. They we drove to a stadium were we climbed some stairs to find the best place for taking pictures of the fort in the spotlight. Again we played with our cameras to get a nice picture. After some practicing time it went very well, as you can see yourself.
The last thing this day was having diner in TRIO restaurant very close to the Jaisalmer fort. After diner our driver picked us up again and brought us to the hotel. There we used the Internet for a while and went to a very comfortable bed.
