I woke up at 7:30 for the second time, because we heard again the mosque at 4:30 am. After a good breakfast we had a tour through Old Delhi with a guide. Not many tourist do this but it is nice to walk over the markets and between the locals. We walked by the Jama Masjid again and over the local markets with lots of spices and food. We bought us some crackers to have something to eat in the car and we came back at 1:30. We had a lunch in our hotel, because this was included with the tour. But we forgot that we had a voucher, so we payed for the lunch at that moment and got the money back much later (the last day of our vacation).

At 14:45 we left with our driver to the Indira Gandhi museum and spent there 1 hour to watch mostly photos, and newspapers with information about Indira Gandhi.
Humayuns tomb
She was the first prime minister of India, and was assassinated on Oct 31, 1984. She was killed by two of her Sikh bodyguards to avenge the military attack on "The golden temple" during "Operation Blue star".

Our next stop was at the Gandhi Smriti, a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. It is the location where Mahatma Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life and was assassinated on Jan. 30th 1948. We followed his footsteps to the place where he was killed.

At 17:30 we arrived at our last stop in Delhi. We were at Humayuns tomb. It is a complex of buildings and it was the first garden-tomb. It also uses red sandstone at such a scale. We stayed here till almost everybody was gone and we left to our hotel. We went straight to "our bar" and had a small diner there and a few drinks. A nice end of a beautiful day in Delhi. It also was our last day in Old Delhi. Tomorrow we will leave for Mandawa. This could be a long drive, and they expect some rain, and we know that this will be the worst road from our whole trip in India.
