Nice one

It is time to say goodbye to Old and New Delhi. This morning is it raining, but no problem, it is a travel day so we are sitting for hours in the car. We left at 8:30 because it is a long drive and the road we are supposed to take, is the worst road in Rajasthan. First stop is at a huge statue of Shiva. At 11 we have to stop for almost e half an hour to let 2 trains pass. They are really slow passing.
Since we were a long time driving we stopped at resort Aravali for a quick lunch. Today we will pass a few place like: Rewari, Singhana and jhunjhunu. The closer we come to Mandawa, the smaller the road. In the end the road is not much wider than 3 meters, and it is quite a job to pass other cars and cows and goats.

Havelli

A quarter to 4 we arrived in Mandawa. We checked in at our hotel, a very nice havelli. We found out that we are the only guests in this hotel and we thought they would threat us like Kings, but too bad, no such thing. We were just tourists. But on the streets they all point to us. We were probably the only tourists in town. We found a guide that shows us around in Mandawa. Specially the havelli's he showed us and they let us inside the houses to look around. After his tour we walked on our own to find more havelli's. We got a very young "guide". He offered to show us around in his place for free! We didn't need him but still he followed us and kept on talking about the havelli's. We found the Ragnu Nath temple, and the viswanath Goenka havelli. When he brought us back to our hotel, better is: he followed us back to the hotel, he asked for some money while he helped us.
Cheers
Finally ALL people ask for money. Every time. But our answer was every time: Sorry, we didn't ask for you help and you offered for free, so no money for you.
At 20:15 we walked to the Bungli restaurant for our diner. The only thing there is that the food is good and the people are nice. But the restaurant is outside, you eat between 3 brick walls with no decoration and no view and we were the only once. A good point was that we were having diner under moonlight. At the end the whole family came and we took several pictures with them. After 10 pm we left to our hotel again. After some writing in my diary we switched of the light and went to sleep.
