The cab picked us up at 5 am and we checked in easily. Almost nobody was at the counters. We found a place to have a sandwich and we know that the trip really was started. Our flight to London was on time, but it was ruined by waiting at heathrow airport to find a place for the plain to unload. It was my first time at this airport and my conclusion was that it is very very big. The gate where we had to go was B37 and it took us almost 30 minutes to get there. But there it is going very smooth. Suddenly the screen changed in: boarding, and we were the first to enter the plain. Thats quit new for me. Mostly I am one of the latest. Why hurrying, you have your seat number so no problem to get in very late.

There was place enough in the plane so we took 3 seats for us. The middle one we need to play cards. We left almost to early and the captain expect us to arrive half an hour early in Delhi. No way.... a lot of traffic on Delhi airport and we circled 3 extra rounds above Delhi and finally we came down 1 hour to late. Time was 23:21 when we touched the ground in Delhi. What us was told was true: You can smell Delhi already when you are still in the plane. We found our luggage and also the local agent to pick us up. He was there with our driver for the next 25 days and they brought us to hotel Broadway. We where driving through dark and small streets, when we said against each other, this is probably not a good neighborhood to stay, and within 1 minute the car stopped and we arrived at the hotel. Oké, that means we are not going for a short walk. We just packed our backpack for the next day and went to sleep. Our first night in India.
