Our interrail passes were valid today. We left Copenhagen at 9:15 and got the train to Berlin
, we met a Danish pro-gamer who gave us some tips on the Danish language. He also gave us some tips for chatting up Danish ladies too! Although my first impression was that he was no expert. We got onto the ferry which was really cool, the train goes right on board and continues off on the other side. Changed over at Hamburg
for a few minutes, then later that day we arrived in Berlin. Bit of a disaster when we got to Berlin... Our hostel was in Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße, I put it into my GPS and started walking, after 2 hours I realised the street name was wrong, we were at Luxemburger Straße. Doh!
Taxi! It was pretty late when we got to our hostel, we checked in and had 3 pints before checking our room.
We did a lot of sight seeing in Berlin, sandemans free walking tour was really cool. Thanks Paul! We also checked out Berlin Zoo, it was amazing, the more exotic animals were really active with the warm weather. Later that day we went to a Beer garden, pretty nice beer and nice pub food too. We had an early train the next day so we really only had 2 days in Berlin. I would have liked to have spent one more day there, maybe to try out the nightlife.
