Fountains are great, but there was one I thought they would find even better: the tunnel! Why? Well, you can cross it. While we were crossing, a boy touched the "tunnel" and we got wet.
Ok, let's keep on walking. We didn't want to go too far away from the Show Fountain. I've already been here and know how crowded it can get. So the best was to go back there a couple of minutes in advance, so we'd get a nice spot to enjoy the show properly. Pfff, we almost got hit by a wheelchair. There were kids playing with that, hahaha. I was wondering if I would see somebody looking for a wheelchair, hehehe.
Both have seen this kind of show before - in Vegas - but this one was much longer, plus we were in Lima, hahaha. It was very nice, love the lights and music and also the images they can project on the water.
Since we were so close to downtown and it looks so nice with the lights, it was a MUST going there. We took a cab and a couple of minutes later we were already there. We arrived to San Martin Square and from there we walked to the Main Square. It looked really beautiful, so bad our cameras' batteries were almost dead. It was nice walking around, but we were hungry, hehehe. Robert mentioned steak, but that would be really difficult to find a place with steak nearby. What about going back to Miraflores?
Sure, but before we stopped at an ice shop we saw while we were walking.
Where is the restaurant? The restaurant I was thinking about didn't exist anymore, oh no! I had a second one in mind, but then I remembered one that was recommended on tv. This was a small place about ribs and bbq. When I mentioned this, both Robert and Shawn were more than happy with the idea, hahaha. I'm not a meat lover, but it didn't stop me to try it and ended up eating too much - again! 2 days in a row! At least I can say I didn't touch the french fries ;)
Wow, this day was long but so fun. I really enjoyed it and hope Robert and Shawn did it too. It was getting late and wanted to go back home, Gunther was alone at home and I had a doggy bag for him :)
