silverfish roll - too good
Shawn arrived to Lima on Sunday night without plans about what to do in town, besides eating hahaha. Seriously the plans were having no plans, just chill out and go to the beach when possible. Lima was cloudy, but humid... So, going to the beach wasn't a good idea, let's stay with plan "B": eating, hahaha.

I told him about the clam place I visited with a friend and he was looking forward to try it. It was so good we ended up going twice and both times it was crowded. The first time, we couldn't help it and order the food to go, ending eating it in my car, hahaha. The clams looked delicious and next to them I saw the silverfish rolls staring at me. How could I leave them alone???

The guy fixed a box with 2 clams, 2 silverfish rolls and a bag with evil corn, which was the perfect complement to soak the lime juice. This was the perfect starter, so fresh and easy to eat. No way I'd have waited 30min for a table, if I can have them at the bar or take them with me. Anyway, they wouldn't last for long.

The second time we had more luck and found a spot at the bar. Unfortunately there weren't silverfish rolls. There wasn't silverfish for sale at the market that day earlier... oh well, at least we knew all what we were eating was fresh... I'm so glad I discover this place and I think I'd include it in my tours around Lima :)

Yes, I had a tear in my eye when they said there were no silverfish :(
I had secret plans of eating many, many of these, but I guess the super great clams made up for it!
