Concert would start at 11pm, at least that was they said.
It was about 10:30pm when we left this place. In our way we saw the streets were getting crowded, nice! That is the Barranco I know, hahaha. We went straight to "La Noche" where the concert would take place.
The plan was to stay there until realizing the concert area was getting crowded. I really like this bohemian bar. It's cool and not pretentious at all.
I thought I heard some music and we decided to leave, but it took for ever to the waiter to come back with the change... pfff. Place was totally crowded by the time we left. We didn't go too far, just to the next room of the house, hahaha. The 1st floor where the stage was located was a bit crowded, so we went upstairs to check it and things were worse here, no way, let's go back downstairs.
Finally it was past midnight when the band showed up on the stage, yay! But what's happening with the lead singer? He showed up too, but had a cast on his arm. He apologized for not being able to play, but the band recently got a new member who would sing. He did it and was very good! The concert started and also picture time. I wasn't the only one, there were many flashes and cameras, hahaha.
People were having a blast! Everyone was singing, clapping, dancing, in one word enjoying the show. This place is great for concerts. Of course they can't be big, but it's perfect for small bands. You are so close to the musicians, how cool! The 1st floor became a dance floor, great! We were having so much fun. It was a great idea to attend to the concert.
It was almost 2am, when the show was getting over. People didn't want it to end. They sang 1 more song and left everyone wanting more. Oh well, now they are promoting a new CD so more concerts might come soon. Before leaving I got April's agenda and I'm checking if any other interesting concert is coming soon, hehehe.
