happy!!!
Earlier today I got a phone call from Big, letting me know he was already in Lima - having piscos for lunch, hahaha - but the cell phone number wasn't showed, so bad... So I sent him a message and later got his reply. He came to Lima with a friend, Christopher, who was also Peruvian, sweet!

It was about 7pm when we finally could talk. It was so good to be able to talk to him, meeting in real person was coming closer. He was staying at his friend's uncle's. They had a busy day and were just recharging energies... plans were going out later. Sure! I'd join them :P I asked BiG in which area he was staying, so I'd be able to figure it out how far they were from my house. It was such a big surprise when he told me, they were in Surco, where I live! hahaha.
mmm, this looks interesting...
But Surco is big, nevertheless, they were just 15min from my house, how awesome!

Around 9pm I went to Javier's. They were already waiting for me to leave. We were 6 happy people: Javier, his wife Mildred, Christopher, his gf Kelly, BiG and me! We drove to Miraflores, to the square. The highlight would be to see the Cathedral, but we made a stop at Manolo's which is a very good and traditional cafe in Lima and all time favorite. We were supposed to stay there just for 5 min, but ended up staying there for 1 hour at least, hahaha. Doing what? Eating! I was forgetting to say that BiG is a foodie too, how sweet!!!

Manolo's is famous for their churros, so we got a couple and also tried different small dishes like the beef empanada and some sweets: suspiro a la limena (very sweet dessert), 3 leches cake (3 milk cake) and some coffee.

We ordered 1 of each dish and everyone was tasting them a minibuffet. But I wouldn't leave BiG to leave the place without trying the papa rellena (stuffed potato). And he falled in love with this fluffy thing, hahaha. He was really enjoying every single bite of it, yummy!!! When I saw it I thought how much he'd enjoy to go to the Food Festival, so we'd try to do it tomorrow.

Then we went to the square, but it was already late and the church was close... driving back home wasn't an option. BiG had piscos but not Peruvian beer. Time to fix it, hahaha. We were just walking around and ended up going to the Pizza Street. I'm not a big fan of that at all, but since we were in a group... Javier took us to a bar / disco and there we had a couple of beers and even danced a bit, hehe.

It was about 1am when we left the place. It was so much fun, but tomorrow we'd have a busy day too, hehehe. Well, I'd go to the gym and meet them later to go to the food Festival - or try to do it - and they'd go and look for a charger for BiG's cammera... They drove me back home and we agreed to meet the next day. We'd be in touch to make sure where and at what time we'd meet up. Nevermind we were ending up going, I'm sure food would be involved, hahaha. Time to recharge batteries, zzz
