The Furthest Traveled Buddy: Aloha_keith

We began the merry making on the meet-up date at the Saddle Ranch Restaurant and later moved to the Martini Ranch a few minutes away from the Saddle Ranch . . . The plan was to get everyone together at the Saddle Ranch, have dinner and drinks and recognize the furthest traveled buddy, Keith (Aloha-keith). It had taken me three weeks of trying to find the best gift for the furthest traveled buddy. I thought of a certificate, a shirt, something embarrasing perhaps (Adrian suggested a pink hat). Nothing seemed to come in mind. I went shopping around and ended up with my friend Barbara at an antique shop, everything was more Native American: I wanted soemthing more cowboyish . . . The Sombrero I finally got had taken me to many places and cost quite a fortune (well in my pocket $95.00 is a handsome price for a hat in Arizona, no?, lol! just kidding).
The day we were driving up to Phoenix (Friday morning, well late morning as I slept poorly the night before), I picked up Matt and showed him the gift, he smiled and said "it is nice" well not exactly what I was looking for, but I hoped Keith would like it. I had that morning also printed a certificate that all who attended would sign for Keith being "the furthest traveled buddy" We managed to get about half of the buddies to sign it at the Saddle Ranch before we moved to the Martini Ranch. We danced at the Martini Ranch and waited on the Vegas Crew plus some of the other buddie who had gone to Sedona (includiing the furthest traveled budd, Keith).
