I heard great things about Manuel Antonio so I decided to head there next. I was not yet confident about wandering around myself and finding my way to a new place. A guy staying at the hostel was going to the bus station so we went to together and he helped me out. I got on the bus to MA which was about 4 hours from San Jose. Halfway there the bus stopped for a bathroom/snack break. I noticed there was another girl that was obviously not from there and we started chatting.. turns out she was going to the same hostel as me. After arriving in Quepos we took a cab together to our hostel Vista Serena. I fell in love with MA right away!!! Truly beautiful, and the owners of Vista Serena were awesome. I stayed in their 14 bed dorm which was $7/night.
I spent the next few days having an absolute blast. I went zip lining in Quepos, went to the Manuel Antonio National Park (which was soo beautiful!) and spent other days just relaxing at beach and working on my tan:) Every day people were coming and going from the hostel, it was awesome... I met more people in 1 week there from more places in the world than probably my whole life. It felt awesome to meet other people in the same mind set and feeling the same way as you. I met a bunch of locals and had so much fun! I knew I had to make myself leave and experience more places. I heard good things about Montezuma and heard about a boat transfer from Jaco so decided to do that. A couple other people from the hostel were going the same way which was great so headed that way together.
