- Got up and waited for everyone else to get up. they finally awoke at 10.00am and louis, stewart and i gave in collectively 5kg of laundry. we then went and had breakfast at bass camp (this term refers to the restaurant that for some reason unknown to us all, we all had subconsiously decided to meet at and chill for several hours of every day).

- through the past couple of days Max, Louis, Will and myself had contemplated renting out quadbikes to look around the whole island. we decided to do it today! we hunted for a set of quads but they were too expensive (600 baht for one) so we rented scooters instead. Now considering that Louis and i had never driven a 2 wheel vehicle before except from a bicycle we were rather nervous. i didn't know how to start it and when i eventually ended up turning it on i moved it just 10m towards the petrol station and nearly crashed into the pillar.

- we took them up these ridiculous muddy roads (pictures on max's, louis, and some one my facebook's) and no joke it was just mud and rocks. we did that for about an hour then w took them along concrete roads to the south of the island. we found this very nice seculded place tucked away in the corner of the island and me and will sat in the bar got a sprite while max and louis went rock climbing. we finished there and took it to the southest point of the island and then teared back on bumby roads doing about 75-80kmph. louis and will got off at bass camp and max and i went to see what was further down our long windy road - there were no beatles there (aha).

- this part of our road was basically a very touristy (2 week holiday area) but posher than the part of the island we were staying in. there were restaurants and rooms that were to be fair to them resonably priced. we came back through a road that went past the back of the rooms stewart and lara were staying in. we saw there was a light on so we used oth our horns to get stewart out. basically i ended up giving stewart a backie to bass camp where we arranged with everyone to have dinner at a resturant that max and i had seen.

- come 7.30pm everyone walked  10mins down the road to the restaurant and i had garlic bread, pork-pineapple + rice and 2 sprites for a cheap 160 baht. walked out and watched some fire dancers then went back to bed.

- we came back through a road which went past the back of the rooms stewart and lara were staying in. we saw that there was a light on so we used both of our pathetic horns to get stewart out. basically i ended up giving stewart a backie to bass camp where we arranged with everyone to have dinner at a restaurant Max and i had seen.
