The big question now was how to get to Terminal 4? From T5 you take the Heathrow Express train to Heathrow Central (T1, T2 and T3) and change to Heathrow Connect to T4. From T5 to Heathrow Central the train runs every 15 minutes and it takes only 5 minutes. From Heathrow Central to T4 trains run every 30 minutes and it takes 5 minutes as well. All inter-terminal transfers are free.
My Kenya Airways flight was not departing till 8 pm and check in opened at 5 pm, so my first stop was Starbucks. At about 4 pm I decided to check out where Kenya Airways was and surprisingly check in was already open, and no one in line. Again I was through the check in procedures in less than 5 minutes. This was going great. Only 4 hours left to kill!
Time went quickly and boarding started 65 minutes before departure. And this is where the good fortune ends. I got to my seat - the reading light iwas not working. After take off I realize that the entertainment system didn´t working either. Great! When the meals were served it turned out that they did not have my special meal. What is this? I flew Kenya Airways 10 years ago and was not impressed. Can´t say that I have grown any founder of them.
