Christmas in the sunshine

Unless you would have told me it was Christmas i would never have known. There was no tinsel, no christmas songs, no santa and no snow (at least not in BA). It was devoid of all Christmas feeling. However, not needing an excuse to Party the Millhouse signed us up for the Pacha Christmas Eve party. I´d met up with a group of lovely people in the hostel and we all decided to spend Christmas together and see it in in style. After one or two (!) drinks in the hostel and after we finally managed to find some christmas songs on someones iPod (only 11 mind and after 3 hours they got REALLY boring!), we started to get into the Christmas spirit, i even found a crazy irishman who lent me his Christmas hat! We left for Pacha on Christmas morning at 3am and the place was heaving. Having paid $160 pesos for the pleasure we decided to make the most of the night and stayed until 8am dancing to great music in one of the biggest and best clubs in BA. We watched the sunrise over the Plata and saw in Christmas.
This may be why i didn´t then see much of Christmas day. Was able to crawl from my bed to an internet cafe to skype my mum (i´m a good girl!) and then crawl back and fall asleep. No Queen´s speech, no turkey, no dodgy christmas TV shows just sleep. Merry Christmas!
