Day 6 - Montecatini Terme - Italy

What an adventure this route whas! When we left Rimini whe optioned our navigation device to take the shortest route towards Florence, instead of the most fast one. We tought to see a bit more of the Toscane scenery. And what a scenery it became. At a certain time we had the grass of the Toscany hills up to our roof of the car!!! We took little roads, I think no man has ever know it whas there. Even the navigation device whas at a certain point lost. Luckily a very nice old Italian lady escorted us of the mountain, down to the main road towards Florence. Such kind people!

Since this so called short route took us so much time, whe headed not to Florence but straight away to our B & B in Montecatini Terme.        This B & B  whas of a Dutch owner called Michael. He and his wife decided a few years ago to emigrate to Toscane. A dream coming true. Now they run a very nice and succesfull "Agriturismo" called "Il Cantastorie" not far from Montecatini Terme, a old Termal bathing place. That night we ate in a local restaurant. Again what a sensation, somekind of neighbourhood festival was going on there. Super. And Italians, man what do they eat a lot! Well better take a nap and tomorrow head for Florence.
