Tsaf...tat former fishing village

Arriving Dubrovnik at 4pm I was unfortunate to know the bus leaving to Podgorica,Montenegro had just left 30 minutes earlier. If the bus from Mostar wasn’t delayed and no engine problem I could possibly catch the bus to Podgorica the same day. The next bus only available the next day heading to Podgorica and also to Skopje which I was thinking to head off straight up skipping Podgorica. The weather in Dubrovnik wasn’t great as 2 days earlier. It was raining and thundery lighting accompanying the heavy pouring rain. The least was I’m happy to know there was a bus to Skopje the next day. Time was running out and Montenegro/Macedonia was not in my original destination.
Just 30 m from the bus station I had a quick look in the internet shop on hostel availability for that night. Staying in guesthouse was a bit boring as no one to talk too. While in a hostel, there’s a good opportunity in meeting fellow travelers. Finnaly I decided to head out for Begovic Boarding house located in Lapad suburb, the area I was 2 days earlier. There the owner put me in 4 bed dorm and happy to meet other traveler. Joris Theunissen from Netherland, a medical student was on his holiday around Balkan. Pretty similar destinations he was going to Sarajevo and Mostar the next day.
We went out for dinner after the rain stopped and I had 1 kg grilled fresh fish from the sea. It took them half an hour to prepare, they took the time to catch the fish by the shore perhapsLOL. I was happy to hear Joris was just back from Iran last summer, the country that I’ll be next. And a year ago he spent a year in India under medical help. So he had been to most places within Iran and India.
The next morning the owner was a helpful to fetch me to the busstop. I was heading to Cavtat, the fishing village turn to tourist spot, about 10 mile south of the coat. I had a walk around Cavtat and 2 hours later took a bus back to Dubrovnik main bus station.
As I was about to buy ticket to Skopje, the counter girl dropped a bombshell. “ Bus to Skopje is leaving tomorrow at 3pm, how many do you want?” WTF ! Yesterday you told me there was a bus to Skopje bus today there wasn’t? That left me no other option than to buy ticket for Podgorica. I hoped by the time I reached Podgorica, there was still bus to Skopje. I didn’t want to stay in Podgorica.
