Black Mountain
October 12, 2009
The weather was cloudy all the way and the bus drove through cliffs over the coast. We passed through Kotor and Budva in Montegro before it climbed up the mountainous region of Montenegro. The bus dropped the passengers leaving me with other 2. The bus was a seasoned one and the driver was on his mobile phone constantly while his other hand steered the wheel on a very winding road. Foggy atmosphere made it harder. I swear to God if the bus crashes to divider and plunge down to the cliff and I was alive by then, I’m going to sue him! What part of driving etiquette he does not understand. This is not third world country.
Reaching Podgorica at haf seven I quickly run into the counter if there was bus leaving to Skopje that night luckily there was. It costs €26.50 for 8 hours overnight bus leaving at 11. I was concerned if the bus passes through Serbia to get to Skopje as I didn’t have Serbian Visa. And it passes through Kosovo- the newly independence country in Balkan though conflict with Serbia is still on-going.
