This time the driving back to Manta lasted a lot less than we were driving to Puerto Lopez, maybe because we didn't stop everywhere like we did before, hehehe.

It was 2 something and we were getting closer to Manta. Shawn told me he had a friend who lives in Santa Marianita, which is just before arriving to Manta. Well, let's make a visit! Mmm, the problem was that he didn't know her address, what a surprise, hahaha. And last time he met her was quite a long time ago, mmm. Maybe he'd be able to recognize her house / hostel when we were there. Sure, let's try to do it.

In order to go to the beach we had to drive quite a bit. The road was going up and down, was funny, hahaha.

It was a small town, not touristy at all, just some houses but then we saw some new and big condos. They are starting to build new houses here, more American style. Maybe for the people who live in Manta and want a get away property, mmm.

After a while we started going down to the beach. It was windy here, which was great since this place is the perfect one for doing kitesurfing. I didn't know that but it's popular coming down here just to do some kitesurf. This wasn't the high season, so beach wasn't crowded, but still could see some people practicing the kitesurf. Good to know this place is so close to Manta... ok, next time ;)

Shawn wasn't sure it that place was his friends or not, so we decided to start driving back to Manta. I'd have liked to knock the door just to see what'd happen, but we had to hurry. Before returning the car, we wanted to go shopping :)
