Our holiday at Curacao

The 12th of August we leave for a holiday at Curacao. We have to make a stop at Aruba so it is 12 hours of travelling. But it is worth it!!
When we arrive we first get our rental car and drive to the Chogogo Resort at the Jan Thiel Baai. The studio we rented is very nice and clean and everything we need is available there.
The first week we go in the mornings to the Jan Thiel Beach near to our Resort. We rent beds every day and go to the bar for a nice cappucino or something else to drink.
The bar is a part of the dining Zanzibar on the beach and the food is very nice there and not very expensive.
In the afternoons of the first week we get in the car and drive along the island. We go to Shete Boka, the rough coast on the north of the island. And to other beautifull beaches etc. And for the diner we have been to the Pizza Hut, Zanzibar at Jan Thiel Beach, and other nice diningplaces.
Willemstad is a beautifull city with La Punta and Otrabanda in the center. Lots of shops with all sort of things you can find there. The shops close at 6 in the evening, that is a pitty because the is nothing to see in Willemstad in the evening!
We were on Curacao for 11 days, and the last three days we have been sunbathing and swimming and snorkeling. That was very nice because we didn't have a sunburn because the first days we were only in the sun in the mornings.
Our holiday was great and very relaxing and I know for certain that I will come back on Curacao once again!!!!

Very nice resort, clean rooms.
You can park your car near your room.
Swimming area is not so big.
Hot tubs on the resort, very nice for in the evenings!!!
