Christmas Village

Hong Kong Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

Hongkong Disneyland opened in 2005. And this trip is to see and experience it. I would say December is the perfect month! Not only that the weather is cold, the place is in festive mood. You'd really feel the christmas spirit in the air, it's more than Disney!

Christmas Village

The first thing you  will notice is the gigantic christmas tree.  This is a magical place, though it is not really huge, almost all of the christmas symbols can be found here.  I love christmas and this sight made me love christmas more =).
A child in me couldn't resist to have my picture taken with Santa! hahaha!!! And there is this corner where you write down your wish in a paper and tie it in the "wish wall".  Something very simple but when you get to see some of the wishes (some are shown in the electronic board) you'll feel the kindness of each person's heart =)
The highlight? Lightning of the Christmas Tree.  We waited for it, a  wonderful sight.  Truly a christmas village.

The Peak!

When you are in Hong Kong, never miss the Victoria Peak.  We are staying in a hotel near the MTR station, we took the train going there.  After a long walk, we finally got to the entrance.  I'm not into heights and the train ride going up made me want to vomit, it is really steep, that I don't look down.  You have to try it yourself =)
The peak is beautiful, I would love to see it again during sunset and night time.  Great view and good scenery.
