Situated in the quiet eastern part of Bunaken island without garbage coming from Manado,in a very remote location,Bunaken Cha Cha accomodates a maximum of 20 guests in 10 ensuite cottages overlooking the island of Siladen. We stayed our first 3 nights in cottage n° 7,a clean superior cottage of 40 sq. m with AC,fan, comfy king-bed,mosquito net and a basic bathroom with HC water. As the resort was "invaded" by a party of 5 quiet Russians with a sophisticated equipment,we had to move for our 2 last nights to another accomodation, within a few meters of the small beach where we got a Balinese style open air shower.
The owners,Raf,an Italo Irish guy and his Japanese wife Reiko were very helpful and warm like all the friendly staff. We had a good time with the other guests, all divers telling us their amazing dives.
The Wifi internet connection package for 5 days costs 25 Usd, we paid 1100 Usd for our 5 nights stay(accomodation,FB,transferts).
We had our meals seated at the large table with the owners,a dive instructor and the other guests.
As the beach is very small with very shallow water at low tide and the resort is in the middle of nowhere,I don't recommend this place for non- snorkellers or non -divers,young children and disabled people(many stairs).
In front of the 60 m wide beach, just meters away,Bunaken Cha Cha has its own "House Reef" and a snorkeling pontoon that floats atop of the reef.
