DAY 13- Venice

Venice was the city I was most looking forward to on the tour, and it did not disappoint! We had an early morning, as we had to drive about twenty five minutes to get our 8:30 ferry. Once we got there, we saw a glass blowing demonstration, which was really cool. After that, we started our day of sightseeing and exploring. Celia, Jess, Renee, Lee, and I got some shopping done, and took a lot of photos. And, of course, we got lost. Thankfully the signs leading to Per San Marco, Per rialto, and per Accademia were posted everywhere to help us find our way! Most of our shopping was done in the little stalls and shops near the Rialto Bridge. We had reservations for a gondola ride, so we all met up at Piazza San Marco (St. Marks’s Square) and headed to our gondolas. The ride lasted about ½ hour, and it was great! By the time we got off the gondola, it was time to eat dinner, so Micah, Victoria, Tom, Kristen, Melissa, Celia, Jess, Nicole, and I found a nice little restaurant and had a great dinner.
