A weekend break in the Blue Mountains with the extended family to celebrate my uncle's 60th (hence the cheesy family photos!). We stayed in two gorgeous cottage style homes in Blackheath, about 1-2 hours drive out of Sydney. Awesome company, food and drinks flowing, amazing scenery. The only downside was it was just TOO SHORT!

Our home in the mountains - Beautiful Blackheath

We made it to Blackheath around lunchtime. Our accommodation for the weekend was two cosy houses next door to each other - one for the oldies, and one for the cousins and partners. The grounds of both the houses were so nice! Each house had a tennis court and a huge forested backyard for taking a stroll through.

We spent the afternoon playing tennis, chopping firewood and keeping warm, before we kicked off the celebrations with a party in the "young ones" house - complete with table-top dancing!
