A weekend get away with my boyfriend... Just good times:)

A weekend and a rented bike:)

Once again we managed to slipp away to a destination out of Oslo without the kids. It was easy this time since Kristoffer was at a football cup for the weekend and Rochelle up north in Tromsø.

We thought a short flight would be good and the choice fell on Copenhagen. Mostly since i haven't been there since i was a little child and would be able to see the city with a different and new look.

We arrived to great weather and a great hotel. We were staying at the fishmarket area as it was called and had a fantastic view from our room. We rented a bike each from the hotel since Copenhagen is buildt for cyclist. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Copenhagen to rent a bike for the day. You get around so much quicker and cover a great deal of the city in a short time.

Besides its flat and the only "uphill" was not really uphill lol.... We did get to see a great deal of the city and enjoyed it to the fullest.

Carlsberg museum was a must for a beer lover and we went there for a tasting. Bear in mind i am not the beer lover of the two of us:) nevertheless it was fun to see the history of beer.  I did try a different beer type just to have tried it but sorry, i just can't get used to the taste of beer. Will i ever do? hmmm TArjei bought a blanket with Carlsberg logo on and was happy with that haha

We didn't go to the tivoli since non of us had the interest for that, but next time if the kids wants to go:) All in all we had a great time. PHotos will come soon...

Yes Keith, renting a bike in a lot of cities can be a good idea. In Copenhagen they have more rights on the road then pedestrians and cars LOL Make sure you do rent a bike when you end up in Denmark...

Your photos are great!! Renting a bicycle is a great idea for touring the town. I'll have to keep that in mind.
