San Marcos River

After class today, Bonnie and I went to the nearby San Marcos river in the Texas State University campus. The river was prestine, and people were floating in tubes leisurely down the river, or swimming. We saw several dogs swimming in the river and fetching balls. It was a nice walk and we took some photos.

Afterwards, I put my stuff back in the trunk of the rental car, and closed the lid. Hmm, guess what, I left the car key in the trunk! After a minute of searching all the pockets and not finding any car keys. I had to call AAA (American Automobile Association) to have them unlock the car for me. It's a good thing that I have AAA, because they sent someone over within half an hour and opened the car for me. They even called back an hour later to make sure I was taken care of. I have never locked myself out of my car before, but I suppose there is a first time for everything.

For dinner we went back to the Kobe Japanese Steak Restaurant and had ourselves a nice dinner before calling it a day.
