on to Cambodia
January 27, 2007
after seeing the wife off at the airport for her flight back home to Shanghai, Colton n' I took a bus to Rangsit (a Bangkok suburb) to catch a long distance (and NON-tourist) bus east to Aranyapathet which is just over 200 km or about a 4-5 hour bus ride and where we would spend the night before crossing into Cambodia the next morning.
this is a route I was familiar with from my days of living in this area for 3 months in 2004 before I moved to China where I know live. I am familiar with this route to Cambodia (as many ex-pats are who live in Thailand) because its a common "border-run" route for people to exit Thailand and then simply turn around and get a new Thai visa.
